A deeply corrupt country, the most destructive warmongering empire in history sends weapons of war to what genuine historians recognize as the most corrupt country in Eurasia, with a deep vein of fascism hearkening back to WWII Nazi filth. What could possibly go wrong?

This is not the first source saying the weapons we’ve provided are not accounted for and are likely to have been sold.

On the bright side, the gross dishonesty is destroying what little was left of the credibility of the MSM and once the Ukraine is defeated the credibility and reputation of Washington and Brussels will be in tatters.

There is also the possibility of Russia holding war crimes trials (some in absentia) is relation to the biowarfare labs. These have the potential to scandalise global opinion. The West will ignore or dismiss such trials, but people cross Asia, Africa and Latin America will pay attention.

After reviewing the list of Ukrainian government objections, these can be boiled down to the following: "It makes us look bad and we don't like it."

An independent press is now passe: it is traitorous, and as Caitlin observes, it is also traitorous to mention that fact. This is propaganda as high art: We are all required to be actors pretending to be genuine citizens of genuine democracies, and then believe the acting is reality: "Those the gods would destroy they first make mad": Never was that quotation more appropriate. This is the perfect formula for the task.

"You can't have it both ways. Either you want the mass media to serve as war propagandists or you want them to tell the truth. You cannot hold both of those positions simultaneously. They are mutually exclusive. And many actually want the former."

So true--and so damning of the entire American/Western journalist profession that kisses the MIC's collective backside whenever they get their wrists slapped. It makes me glad I no longer work for a newspaper anymore. Journalism died long before the day they locked up Julian Assange.

If only my dogs would be so obedient when I tell them to stop doing something.

If you watched it, it was laced with uncritical demagoguery towards Russia and endless support of the Zelenskyy regime. The only truthful part was that the weapons are being diverted. Ukraine has been a massive money laundering operation since 2014.

The fact that it did get out and some people will watch it; the fact that you are writing about it, and other journalists might too--maybe it will make a small ripple in the toxic media lake, that carries each of them.

Well, the report was truthful, in part, and that simply cannot be allowed.

Shame on CBS for allowing Ukrainian officials to roll over on them.

I wish we knew what the hell is really going on there.

You can actually hold two opposing views in your psyche, and it is called cognitive dissonance. Frankly, I think a lot of people are suffering from multiple personality disorder from their fragmented psyches, so it is no surprise they are incoherent, dissonant, scattered, and chaotic.

I/We want mass media to tell the truth to serve war propaganda.

There we go. Mutually exclusive no longer!

Ukraine has the West firmly by the balls and with steel pliers no less.

In particular after the 2014 coup with the West now openly 100% vested in their anti-Russian posture they took the game of subtle lies the West employs and cranked it up to 11. They know the West will have to be behind them no matter what.

Zelensky and the boys are having enormous fun squeezing those balls. And the West's squealing becomes more and more intolerable.
