Saying they could be "dangerous", in other words, "just like us", is the whole point of making it public. The USA can always use another villain to fear monger with so the masses will put up with their enslavement..

This sounds like a psyop push to generate Doublethink. People will be expected to both believe and disbelieve this story. People know that the story is preposterous on its face. At the same time, it'll become part of a narrative one is expected to support. Perhaps it will be used to increase the general level of cognitive dissonance. That's just my off-the-cuff guess.

The Russians clear advantage over the US in hypersonic missiles and the need for the US military to get even more funding from the Senate may also be the reason for this 'transparency'.

Aren’t we still waiting for proof of intelligent terrestrial life?

When I hear stuff like; "We don't even understand how you could do something like that," Mellon said in a recent interview with CTV News of the inexplicable maneuvers and features these aircraft supposedly demonstrate." I know I am listening to either a misinformation propagandist, somebody who sooo wants to believe in space aliens that their assumptions blind them to common sense, or they are merely a technically clueless human observer. Any drone hobbyist can achieve 80% or more of these inexplicable maneuvers with a plastic toy costing under $1,200. They take amazing pictures and movies too. A few would require more expensive commercial or military surveillance drones.

Caitlin has previously talked about the misinformation folks, so I will skip that highly likely explanation for the recent UFO sightings hype. Let’s progress to the UFO believers. Although drones have been around for decades, most people have no idea of the capabilities despite relatively tiny size (you can land many in the palm of one hand). Because the UFO-believer assumes that they are observing not a small drone but a huge, manned flying saucer, they see the quick course changes as defying physics and the apparent altitude, speed, and course changes as physically impossible for a human to withstand. It must be alien technology.

My spouse can not only turn our drone 90 degrees from course in an eyeblink, it can do so descending 500ft in just a few seconds. Toy drones are made mostly of plastic to reduce weight. A computer and four vertical propellers enable truly amazing stability even on windy days over the beach which enables 4K stills and videos from above. They are great for watching wildlife like alligators, sharks, and other critters that would be difficult to film up close in nature. The light weight and plastic makes toy drones almost invisible on radar, and their small size makes them hard to photograph from a moving aircraft.

Of course, there are two other types of drones. Most common are military and commercial surveillance drones. These drones are often used to spy, do geological surveys and, and create computer maps. One to three meters in length, some are jet propelled for high-altitude monitoring etc. Thus, they can also go very fast and very high. However, again, if the viewer assumes they are looking at a spacecraft, and their distance to target information is unreliable, they might be perceived as UFOs.

Lastly there are military strike drones. Based upon news coverage, our military uses them frequently to monitor and blow up unsuspecting Arabs and Iranian generals. They also doubtless have electronic countermeasures to confuse enemy radars and foil mid-air shoot-downs. Some spy drones can be launched from submerged submarines, outmaneuver fighter jets, and even be retrieved in the water. That might explain one "baffling" report where the UFO dropped straight into the ocean at speeds that would kill a human pilot. No pilot would ever nose straight into the ocean at full throttle to certain death but an unmanned drone might in order to avoid detection. In addition, military drones can self-destruct to avoid detection. The new Turkish anti-personnel drones are like little airborne grenades (price around $5K/ea). So, let’s stay skeptical of these reports of UFOs.

How does it happen that only military pilots have seen UFOs? Commercial aviation has been operating for 80+ years, having flown millions of flights and billions of passenger miles in that time span. Each flight has a crew, and many, many passengers sitting in window seats. Yet no civilians or civilian pilots report having seen UFOs. Additionally, UFOs apparently prefer to allow themselves to be seen only by U.S. military pilots otherwise we'd be getting reports of UFOs having been seen by Canadian, British, German, French, Russian and other nation's military pilots. Unless, of course, it's all a fabrication, mustered up by the U.S. military machine for who knows what reason.

Thank you Caitlin, this is funny stuff. Time to send Fox Mulder and Dana Scully out for an investigation. I got so fed up with the UFO narratives, I would suggest if there were UFO, it was us returning through a wormhole in space, to reclaim our genetic integrity after we had so completely, in the future, destroyed ourselves and the world. I really do think there is an episode of X Files about how the military is a part of the hoax. Weaponizing space, and using NASA as an arm of the military, is again, part and parcel of what Mulder called the "military-industrial-entertainment complex"

Many who have approached this topic tend to go about it from the starting point of asking "Are the ETs good or bad?".

This very limited dualistic thinking shapes much of the debate on this important topic. Personally, I don't think the answer to that is black and white as the interstellar civilizations that have visited here (historically) and those that are presently visiting here are myriad (and their motivations for being here are varied).

After 10 years plus researching this topic (and having some life changing personal experiences related to this) I have concluded that here are many different advanced cultures who are here now, and thus many different reasons for observation and interaction. That being said, I should start by saying that I do believe there is a coherent intent and motivation on the part of a majority of these interstellar civilizations regarding their interest and interactions with humanity (that being to study, connect with and assist those who choose to operate in a 'compatible state of being' and 'relative clarity of consciousness') so that they may in turn assist the rest of humanity to remember who and what they and take steps towards a more integrous and peaceful civilization on Earth (that can one day become part of a 'federation' of interstellar cultures). Though, I would not describe that as them being here to 'save us from ourselves' or clean up our mess for us, as much as offering a helping hand and guidance to those who are ready to step up and lead by example for the rest of humanity.

From what I gather this main group of the visitors has seen how detrimental it can be when they force an awareness of their presence upon more primitive cultures (like humans) on other worlds, as this results in either xenophobic fear based reactions and/or them being deified and put on some pedestal and worshipped. Neither are conducive to the natural evolution and advancement of civilizations and so they opt for a more gentle introduction of their presence into the consciousness of developing worlds (which are not yet interstellar capable). This more prominent group that seems to represent a consensus of the majority of advanced interstellar civilizations from our galaxy that engage the Earth is in essence offering an open invitation to those humans who wish to help in laying the foundation for a more peaceful, regenerative, compassionate, honorable and responsible civilization on earth (and beyond). These beings communicate via directed thought forms (sometimes augmented by technological communication arrays which can detect, record, transmit and amplify said coherent thought forms.) There are specific methods of 'coherent consciousness training' (aka meditation) that can help one develop the mental capacities which enable open communication with those that use the above described method to communicate.

I have also come to understand that there are also others (interstellar visitors) here for passive observation and study ("anthropologists", "geneticists" "botanists" etc).

Thank you for this excellent article Caitlin, your broaching this very important (yet often stigmatized and avoided subject matter) shows your degree of integrity, intelligence and insight.

These people (in the military and intelligence community) pushing these notions of an "extraterrestrial threat" forward into the public consciousness are exactly what Verner Von Braun warned about decades ago. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8Nc-gG7vIY The only step in the endless cycle of problem-reaction-solution fear pysops/false flag ops he did not warn us about is this scamdemic (which is a fear/control narrative that is running out of steam quickly now). The manufacturing of a perceived "et threat" card may be their next play.

Given the extremely advanced technology at the disposal of organizations like the DOD, NSA, CIA (and various U.S.A.P.-s operating under the umbrella of the US Airforce) I would say that the capability does exist to orchestrate the manufacturing of a perceived threat that would be made to appear ET in nature. For people who want to perpetuate military spending and further consolidate power in the hands of the few on Earth, such a thing may be their end game. Only time will tell. One thing is for sure.. If I see images of "ufos" blowing stuff up on the news, I will be asking hard questions, applying intuition, common sense and triple verifying with on the ground sources before I believe what any paid actors (aka 'news reporters') are saying about it.

Our radio signals have so far spanned a distance of 200 light years max. Which is like dropping a pebble into the Pacific ocean and seeing a concentric wave with a radius of 10 centimetres.

Another spot-on insight. If some advanced intelligence hasn't already zapped us for our multi-decade support for Zionism then there's no way we're being judged by our actions, to which I say, "Too bad." It's up to us to crawl out of this ooze and start acting like human beings for a change.

They work for the military and the intelligence community ( area51), and also, they appear all over the Bible ( fallen angels or whatever you want to call them). You can go to Hollywood and investigate, they know a lot about all this.
