But Caitlin, AOC is so photogenic and has such a great smile. How could she be working for the evil empire?

"They're not worse, they just perform different functions. The Manchins and Sinemas kill leftward movement openly, the AOCs encourage the left to feed their political energy into a party that's built to kill leftward movement." Beautifully succinct summary of US politics.

Progressive revolution? What progressive revolution? Never existed in the 21st. Closest this country ever came to revolution was during the 1960s. Then the CIA et al. murdered Malcolm X, MLK, and Fred Hampton, the few genuine white radicals like the Berrigans passed on, and that was that.

AOC is not permitted even the illusion of dissent because Israel. Because sacred cow.

And no. It doesn't matter if she was in tears as she complied. Her vote counts just the same.

Results are what matter. Results are all that matter. Not symbolic gestures, not moral victories, not preening. Results.

Concrete material results.

Another spot-on post.

The AOCs of the world aren't half as infuriating as the partisan hacks who support, defend, and absolve them of any responsibility. This happens on the left and the right, and is applied to not only politicians, but to entire countries, identity groups, and mythical sky daddies.

A general strike could unravel this, and the entire propaganda apparatus of the state is deployed to keep us at each other's throats to prevent this from happening.

People say, "Why pick on AOC when other lawmakers are way worse?"

I would say because she gets the benefit of the doubt on her bullshit, while people like Marjory Taylor Greene gets sanctioned all the time for behaving in almost the same exact way.

Democracy: The God that Failed by Hans-Hermann Hoppe sheds a lot of light on the issues with Democracy and why it never seems to work in the long run.

This is actually fantastic. Truly a well-worded and all-around deconstruction of the classic Progressive Democrat fetish.

The only trouble is that there is no viable socialist party to channel the people's justifiable discontent into an alternative option. So, the vitriolic truth you poured into this post will unfortunately go in one ear and out the other. That is not your fault, of course, any more than it is mine, but we must be aware of it. Without the party to actively embody a workable alternative, no amount of truth-saying will fit the bill. Our dilemma is precisely that, and not necessarily primarily one of people falling for the charms of The Squad, etc.

The article is, once again, outstanding. And now -- so what? What can be done? What specific actions??

For example - about the all-encompassing corruption at all level of US government:

1. Can a sitting Senator or Congresswoman be removed for CORRUPTION?

2. Are there prior cases -- in prosecuting corruption?

3. What is necessary to initiate a process?

4. What are other 10 or 20 specific actions population can undertake in fight of a massive and endemic corruption at all levels of US government?

PS: The "soo bad" China executes yearly few extreme cases of corruption in China; when was the last time any major US politician was jailed in the US (beyond few months or years)?

People go to AC/DC concert for pleasure they get from identifying with hard rock rather than smooth Jazz. Same for people who read Caitlan's news letter rather than Marianne Williamson, it's the pleasure they derive from her anti-American style. Noam Chompsky been speaking the same truths for decades yet his dispassionate intellect rules his posture.
