What's depressing to me is that the powers which have always existed behind the veil of accountable authority are now pretty much doing what they do out in the open, yet peoples' acceptance of this dysfunctional dynamic goes on as before.
Why Does the US always talk about "threats" even though the countries in question usually have not threatened the US and probably couldn't pose a danger to the US even if they wanted to?
