Great lines about our depressing times. I don't know how you do it. I couldn't stay on Twitter anymore with all the bickering and backstabbing but I still believe in what you do and will support you however I can.
I'm being gentrified. My simple, poor, existence is nearing termination. Things truly suck today. I feel for all the marginalized folks having to deal with the vampires sucking our blood as if what they do matters. War, environmental destruction, the end stage of industrial capitalism. i can't wait 'till it's all over. And I even didn't/don't have any kids to fret over; I can't imagine worrying about them, and yes, I do care, greatly for their future. Peace, The Ol' Hippy

The status of women in any society is the hallmark of that society. That says nothing good about any society, including the Christian West. We want citizens to do the work, pay taxes and provide the superior amenities we all enjoy. But we don't want to help families, especially mothers of young children. I've even heard this disconnect rationalized as "demeaning of motherhood" which is based on love, and not "lucre". And the two.of course, are mutually exclusive. No use going into the socialization that keeps the image of women infantile and helpless, the propaganda about women's "nature" disclosed to the wise among us. It isn't working so well anymore: many women reject motherhood as the pious ruse it is. I've known a mere handful of women who were actually happily married. And most mothers of young children seem tired and depressed to me. If we don't soon adjust this narrative all our citizens will be immigrants. Not that there's anything wrong with that...
Beautiful prose! The theme extends to 'single' responsible senior/elder women who must 'save' themselves from the consequences of today's paradigm. Self Preservation without self flagellation & guilt must be revitalized.

unlike Some Dumb Girl wrote i did not felt the past lockdowns so hard as i was always out and about ... but i saw a city i live empty and deserted like a sci fi movie, gladly i do not like where i live cause i never related to this place im still living... rains a lot, everything has to be paid (not yet the beaches), nobody can buy a beer after 11pm (just like dry law dry brain politicians), everything besides food is so expensive that only the sent spies rich chinese communists can afford, people nowadays here do not take care about their miserable lifes only but publicy interfere and opinion in other people affairs too for my disgust and often i had to tell people "why u care, take care of your own and leave me alone, is it hurting you what you see me doing?" when it is all just silly things, anyway english people like these ones brainwashed by the Liberals parties are not only boring but asphyxiaiting to my free tropical soul.... the majority here swallow any media propaganda any s that comes out of FJT mouth

I f miss the tropics, the mess, the poor at least most of them are happy and festive, i miss somewhere i have never been cause the hungry for power and control filthy elites achieved something, they had modified, created new human beings a new class of idiotic and depressing pathetic obey your gov freaks and no matter how rich or not these new imbeciles are they suffer the same apathy and blandness
