Note that none of current idpol debates challenge the Empire and its endless wars, nor do they question how the economic pie gets sliced.

I call it Synapse Softening. particularly taking the form of: "You can consume your way into happiness with more spending" . . . and more desirable products. All I have to do is bring forth the scads of half-assed commercial jingles that remain in my brain 50 years later --- for beer, toothpaste, shampoo, automobiles, etc. Like still inflamed, festering boils, occasionally these mundane musical recollections suddenly surface, spewing their pus of capitalist consumption into my consciousness completely bypassing my volition. They are signposts of the lifetime of enslaved battering my psyche has taken from Massa Money that has softened my brain's resistance to that general theme: You, slave, are primarily a consumer.

Yuri Podolyaka :

Today, it seems, was a day of revelations (or rather, yesterday).

" The Russians are dying, and this is the best thing we've ever spent money on " - US Senator Lindsey Graham.

Help for residents of Ukraine (you just haven't fully understood yet, it seems): for Americans, we are all Russians. And those tens of thousands of Ukrainians who died in this war, this is also for the American senator "the best thing he spent the money of American taxpayers on."

P.S. I want to say to "American taxpayers" that the boomerang is an insidious thing. And he has the ability to return. I'll be very sorry, but when he returns, don't say "why us?"

Zin Note: I didn't vote for him, but as an American, I'm acutely aware of how those that have been elected to represent us behave. Honestly, when the consequences come to my home shores, I'll know why, and I won't be scratching my head. I wish only for my countrymen to wake up from this slumber of apathy and ignorance.

A staggering study of US history has undoubtedly proven since 1776 out of 247 years, 225 years (roughly 93%) the US was directly involved in wars and conflicts all over the world. the US has undertaken almost 400 military interventions and invasions including 200 of which took place between 1950 and 2019, of those 200 more than 100 have taken place during the post-Cold War era between 1991 and 2019.

"The post-Cold War era has produced fewer great power conflict and circumstances in which to defend vital US interests. yet US military interventions continue at high rates and higher hostilities," the study concluded.

The US military interventions "increasingly" target the Middle East and Africa: more than a quarter of the country's campaigns throughout its history. US involvements in wars, invasions, and regime changes around the world.

Instances of the United States "liberated" overthrown or attempting to overthrow a foreign government since World War 2

Thanks for this great categorization of different types of propaganda. I think that's very useful. I've been thinking that we're living through the most psychologically stressful time perhaps in history. Gaslighting on such a vast and comprehensive scale has never before been possible. Recognize, everyone, how strong and competent you are just getting through the day with your sanity intact. Be kind to yourself in all the ways you can and give other people the benefit of the doubt, even when they can't see what you can. These are very isolating times.

Few people have the time or the inclination to see beyond the bounds of the Overton window. Most are concerned with taking care of themselves and/or their families in a world that makes it increasingly difficult to do so. Many may get a glimpse here or there of things outside that window, but that glimpse isn't enough to take them down that other path that leads to a whole other world that looks very little like the one they're accustomed to. It's nearly impossible for them to take even that first tentative step.

Propaganda is often subliminal and to the untrained eye it appears nothing more than an innocent and positive message. It is also wrapped in patriotism and ideology. Interestingly it is also contradicting. For example, work hard go through the horrible economic system that is capitalism and succeed. Notice both parties send different messages but both make the United States out to be the good guy in everything. That everything we do is for the greater good of the world(ideology). We bomb nations and overthrow their governments for their own good! ;) Sure....Also war is good, especially for the economy. What kind of psychopaths can justify it morally without a direct threat? Notice that everything that is supposed to benefit you, really benefits the empire. Propaganda is designed for mass influence. Voting is meaningless because we don't vote on anything meaningful or for any truly non-empire sponsored candidate. At the end of the day...Propaganda looks pretty normal because as you mentioned, we are fed it every day from the day we are born. Mike Sygula of Truth Theory on youtube is a good presenter on this, too.

From a personal point of view,in many respects i was able to see something within the mainstream that was not right, even at a young age.I was sceptical about MSM from school age.Why is this, why was my father not so .I dont feel it's intelligence necessarily,i am baffled why so many are taken in,bright people amongst them. Why did i know wrestling on the tv was choreographed whilst my dad didn't.So it is no surprise the people go along withit, but my question is,amongst the elites ,how many believe there own shit?,the Aristocracy being born to rule, for example..

Brilliant! You captured nearly all of it.

I"m convinced the only way to combat this is to make these authorities unimportant. When enough of us no longer pay attention and let these authorities direct us and our behavior, they will no longer have power over us.

I don't know how to do that yet. But I will find a way.

Well, considering that the Banking Cartels and Western Governments are trying to cover up a 50 + Trillion dollar theft/cover up- the propaganda has to be 24/7 nonstop and as raunchy as it gets. When they look in their mirrow - they don't see guilt - they see dollar signs. lol

Excellent!!! Keep on repeating bits and pieces of this superb meditation on propaganda every time you write, Caitlin. The sin of omission furthers the propagandist the most. We must cultivate the habit of asking - What is the missing piece here? What isn't being addressed/included? and How come?

What the heck do you think most marketing consists of? Propaganda of some type at some level. The competition is extreme for most products and services and as we are seeing more and more, it's all about the money.

Much of big business is now controlled by leftist interests and anti-competition in the form of less and less free marketing. It has become controlled and targeted marketing where propaganda is introduced in various ways.

A good expose' of the controlling mass media world and the people saturated daily. Even this expose' could be "Used" to undermine people's self determinism because there must be "something" reliable to measure, and compare other data to.

Historically, for what it's worth currently, people used the New Testament of the Bible, the Bill of "Inherent" Rights of the US Constitution, as Stable Data to then measure and compare other ideas and data.

So I then could conclude that Pedophilia, Gender Surgeries, Multiple Pro-noun Identifiers, Paper/CBDC's are Tools of OppreSSion, and NWO Wars of Blood (ours) and Profit (theirs), and Centralized Feral Gubmint is Tyrannical and Leads to Needless Deaths vis NWO Plandemics and their "Cures" via VaXXXes.

"If you think the system is dysfunctional, you're the dysfunctional one."

For years I thought I was the "dysfunctional one" and not the system. At last my eyes were opened and I realized just how much I'd been f-ed over by the corrupt capitalist system and how little f-ing over I'd ever done in my life. Instant relief! Of course, now I have to convince others that the corrupt capitalist system is the cause of the majority of ills in this world, and I'm accused of still being "dysfunctional" but I wear the label with pride. There needs to be more of us in order for the things to get "functional" again.

Another great article Catlin. I think this is already dangerous area with propaganda not only being used overtly by government departments and the press, making it harder to have an informed, impartial view on anything. A more sinister covert use is propaganda as a social engineering tool. Not only are social platforms full of misinformation and disinformation but governments employing departments to do this. A new British Army Regiment has been formed solely to push the party line. Why in uniform is a curiosity as the 5k staff at GCHQ are all civilian.

More disturbing is ‘chat bots’ who automatically detect comments on social platforms then insert pre conceived comments putting spin on the topic. I believe we are on the cusp of a new age of AI computers that will be deployed thus. It’s bad enough having people put spin on things but AI programmes covering the entire Webb 24/7 pushing propaganda is dangerous. People already have absurd notions and niavity that governments are there to look after their interests when they are just puppets working for the elite.
