Listen to a reading of this article: It's very odd how humans can be manipulated into acting against their own self-interest to the benefit of their rulers in ways that animals would never tolerate, just by exploiting the fact that we experience thoughts in our heads that animals do not experience.
We need to stop the brainwashing of children that war is good, glamorous and full of integrity and honour. I was brought up on stories of WWII and good v evil as I played with my toy soldiers. When in second year of law degree I was head hunted by U.K. MoD. I thought at 20 it was a good and honourable thing. Two years army posting (so they could watch me and do deep background checks. I was promoted to political officer at command. Two years later promoted into press and disinformation then again to Director of Defence Policy all under 30. Then I became ill, started drinking. I couldn’t cope with the outright lies, not spin, lies I was writing in briefs for PM question time, the Secretary of State for Defence to release in the house, to MPs, papers, NATO, let alone the public. Documents shredded and burnt so unable to be released in the future to the public. Zero accountability. All sworn to secrecy and to the crown. People aren’t even aware there are security levels above Top Secret. Secret Memorandums of Understanding between countries. Like the not so secret one last year when U.K. and Australia formed a pact with the USA that when they go to war with China all three go. American land nukes on Australian soil and nuclear attack subs from U.K. and U.S. in pacific rim.
Today is "President's Day" in the US (a national holiday), so here's a few "Presidential" thoughts:
1) George Washington Farewell address - beware foreign entanglements

3) Eisenhower - dismantle the military industrial complex
"This conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience. . . .Yet we must not fail to comprehend its grave implications. . . . In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist."
4) JFK - “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable."
The geological record is full of extinct species that failed to adapt to changing circumstances. There is a distinct possibility of Homo sapiens joining them far too early. What's it to be, folks? The world's nastiest have congregated in Davos to espouse & engineer their 4th Reich bit but don't forget they include the major capitalists who have dragged us to this awesome do-or-die point in history where we stand at the perilous edge of the abyss. My guts tell me not all will die but many will whichever route we take, revolution/uprising or continue with the sleepwalking into a major genocidal event delivered through a hollow needle or thermonuclear war or genuine antibiotic-resistant epidemics or whatever! I have some friends, who I consider to be equally intelligent as yourself. In the last couple of years they have reversed their positions on the effects of man made climate change. They have scientific reasoning but a big part is propaganda.
Personally, I’m on the fence. However, given the heinous lies and blatant propaganda on all things Covid, which really was essentially a wealth, power and control grab, it seems likely that real or not, that’s what climate change will be used for.
We must build parallel systems to circumvent these corrupted ones.
Let’s create a new decentralized 4th branch of government that is 100% controlled by the people and is used to hold corruption accountable. No one else is coming to save us.
Every time I bring this up im either admonished by people like Jordan Peterson as this idea being abhorrent or I get uncomfortable silence and the faint sounds of crickets chirping in the calm absent night. Then the slinking away of the people of perposed intellect who can't face such an uncomfortable thought that might be more true than their self image can handle.
Humans might just possible be a form of planetary cancer, an anomaly of nature, just with a board of directors, where the meetings minuets reflect the basic drive of their species, devour everything, meeting adjourned.
Couple that with the clever manipulation of superstition fear and religion created by our opulent psycopath leaders and the mind of this cancer is indeed captured to the point it ignores the murder of its host organism and thus itself..
