So effective is this media bubble that during last summer's George Floyd protests, l only heard the demand that Israel stop training our police departments (with predictable violent results) from one outlet -- Chris Hedges on Jimmy Dore. In America, blind support for Israel remains a very large elephant in a very tiny room.

Netanyahu's political infighting, where he seems to imagine himself the progeny of King David, has so fractured the spirit of Israel that it has lost its collective will to exist -- Israeli factions despise one another more than their external enemies. Some factions believe so firmly in God's approval of their crimes (backed by the IDF using American Weapons) that they wantonly murder, destroy and create havoc -- not just within Israel, but on a global scale. (Iraq, Iran, Syria) Other factions look on in horror with helpless impotence. (Dare I say, the same impotence of American Progressives -- including American Jewish Progressives?)
