Naked before the world this collection of cowards aim to hide their vanity by torturing a hero of the resistance. Their venality is surpassed by no actor in human history. Jurisprudence has had no greater challenge than this.

This may be true on a second order, or third order scale, but the ASSANGE story bares the deep ultimate truth......western journalists are mainly con jobbers incapable of even informing us to the pitfalls and perils we face, never mind keeping governments in check.

One more indication of the deplorable state of corporate media is my having to say, "Thank you, Caitlin, for covering this important story", which should be on the front page and lead off every broadcast, automatically.
Just as Israel is the perfect microcosm of so much that is rotten politically, Assange's persecution provides the exact same unflinching clarity.
What are his crimes? Who did he expose? How does he threaten me? Why the utter silence across the political spectrum (which in the US runs from about A to C).
And the media. Perhaps Assange transformed into a non-story is the biggest tell of all that they serve their millionaire owners and the state, and not our right to know.
The seamlessness between Trump and Biden is another great slap in the face that our political realm is more akin to professional wrestling than it is to Constitution Hall. We may as well throw in the futility of voting for democrats and republicans too.
America is clearly in the hands of some of the worst among us, and besides recognizing this fact, I'm at a loss of what, if anything, can be done about it.
The bottom line: "it reveals far more about those who rule over us than anything any journalist has ever exposed". If there is any wisdom left in this corrupt government, they will let Julian free, even just to refute this sentence.
This is a 100% transparent conspiracy, as compared to 9/11 which was about 60% and the JFK assassination at about 10%. My impression, and it certainly varies with time, but the scale from ca. 10% at the time of the JFK assassination is a generous estimate (who else besides Vince Salandria and a few others realized what had really happened?) to 100% now in the Assange case, where everybody knows or has no excuse for not knowing, is certain, in my mind. Of course the gap between "knowing" and being willing to take any kind of action is enormous.

When I read this morning that Assange has Asberger's {sp.)Syndrome, I immediately thought of Julien — when I saw the twitter feed of him holding his newborn son, and the accompanying statement that the US said he shouldn't ever be allowed to have children, I was angry to say the least, perhaps because a couple of seconds after the 20 minute mark, this video describes a young woman who has the same problem as Julien , and was given a trained dog by people in Germany, that allows her to resume an almost-normal life. When you understand the truth,I think you may be as angry as I am. My thought is that a strong man is needed to speak this truth, a man who is willing to let the chips fall where they may, and I would suggest John Pilger,
