The absolute worst argument against this strategy is that of damaging political careers. The entire idea of a lifelong career in politics is anathema to truly democratic governance, and is, moreover, predicated on celebrity and is fear based. It's the assumption that if progressives were to be voted out for bold pro-constituent action that no one else (as progressive) would be there to step up; a ridiculous proposition. Bold populist action tends to engender more of itself. So unless you're tied to the celebrity-tainted worship of AOC or any other individual, longevity of congressional residence is a truly weak position from which to argue for inaction. — as those in favor of term limits would undoubtedly tell us.

I think it was toward the end of 2019 that Deagel.com provided a forecast for 2025. Along with the forecast, they provided a prose rationale for their prediction of Western collapse including population reductions of 70% in the US, 78% in the UK and double digit declines in most other Western industrialized nations. They updated the prose on September 25, 2020. In doing so, they stated as a prediction what has already become a fact, "It is quite likely that the economic crisis due to the lockdowns will cause more deaths than the virus worldwide." They are also very critical of "The core ruling elites [that] hope to stay in power which is in effect the only thing that really worries them." It's worth the 5 minute read. I hope we can avoid their most dire prediction of a strategic nuclear war: https://www.deagel.com/forecast

Nobody in the BLM protests insisted that it had to be a perfect movement (lord knows it wasn't). Where was the tone-policing then? Accidentally torching a Native American community center in Minneapolis is just collateral damage, but making AOC uncomfortable (or pursuing a strategy that "might" backfire, as her defenders might say) is verboten. Gee, I wonder if declaring an autonomous zone in Seattle without any real construction of alternative statecraft *might* backfire. Better accuse its proponents of being Feds who want to split the movement. But no, we went along with it, gave it a shot then, tried to make the best of it. So what if you think Jimmy Dore is doing a "Leeeerooooy Jenkins!" move right now? Leftsts owe him the same amount of charity as, for example, CHAZ.

Or is this a situation of a woman's refusal to deny a woman in a seat of power? My intention is not in being misogynistic, as refusing to support a woman would be, as I intend to support AOC in a 2024 run for president. For me to support ANY candidate for ANY office depends on their political ideology, not their sexual orientation.

One way it could go wrong is if the more liberal corporate Dems vote yeah knowing full well that it will at any rate fail to pass.. so they pass the litmus test without angering the party bosses.
