Irony upon irony as the empire crumbles. Every communication from Empire is miscommunication. Every education is miseducation. Ask Lauryn Hill.

Our resistance comes from personal healing, rejecting as much of the mainstream world as possible, support local at every turn, and hold onto this lovely Life We Share.

As the miseducated Lauryn Hill proclaims, "Everything Is Everything"

"But the mass media do not exist to share important information about the world. They exist to share important disinformation about the world. If they did not do this, the same US empire which is decrying the spread of disinformation today would collapse into its own footprint."

Perfect, 10/10 burn.

I just subscribed to your substack, you should thank Glenn greenwald.

Excellent piece - by the way I’m going to share it with a dozen people. With your help I will be considered a kook buy all my family members, but that’s OK I’m up for it. Keep fighting the good fight.

Getting people believing they control the fate of their nation via the democratic process when in reality all large-scale politics are scripted puppet shows controlled by a plutocratic class who owns both the politicians and the media outlets which report on them.

'Controlled by the plutocrat class that own the politicians and propagandist media'.

Need an editor? Your writing is atrocious - you need an editor. Call me I'll work for free. I don't change content. 520260714(what comes after 4)?

Well said, Caitlin! You danced adroitly around the central current issue of disinformation bombarding the world, wisely declining to mention the unmentionable (we do understand the price that must be paid for someone in your position transgressing on that one!), yet leaving it open to inference for those with their eyes open - nice!

My only quibble is that what you describe as the American empire is actually the transnational corporate state, of which America is merely one more hollowed out vassal state - just another fake democracy feigning to exercise the sovereignty that was usurped by the transnational banking cartel back in 1913. Ignore the nominal nationality of major banks and corporations, look to the ownership of the majority of their shares to get a clearer view of who it is that owns and runs this transnational empire. This article here attempts to gloss over some of this, yet the research described nails it quite well: https://www.newscientist.com/article/mg21228354-500-revealed-the-capitalist-network-that-runs-the-world/#ixzz6NTqiyYjI
